Once Upon A Time In Las Vegas – Super Bowl

The Virginia Cavaliers (18-4) will host the Duke Blue Devils (17-7) in a ACC battle Saturday. Last season these teams split their two face to face meetings straight up, but Virginia covered the spread in both games as the dog.

In the first season of the post-Mike Krzyzewski era, Duke still entered the season with high expectations. The Blue Devils found themselves rated No.5 by si.com in the preseason. As we enter the home stretch of the regular season, Duke has been solid but has yet to look like a national championship contender. They are 33rd overall according to Kenpom, 57th in adjusted offensive efficiency, and 31st on the defensive end. If the season ended today, ESPN's Joe Lunardi has the Blue Devils as a No. 7 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Duke is 8-5 in the ACC. After winning three straight games, including a 63-57 win over North Carolina last Saturday, the Blue Devils were blown out 81-59 at Miami on Monday. The Blue Devils are just 9-15 against the spread and also have an 8-15-1 over/under record.

Duke is 20th in the country making 76.3% of its free throws, 192nd making 49.8% of twos, and 272nd hitting 32.4% from three. 7-foot freshman Kyle Fillipowski leads the team with 15.5 ppg, 9.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals. 6'2 junior Jeremy Road is second on the team averaging 12.5 ppg but only shooting 38.9% from the floor.
