This Saturday, the (7-3) Duke Blue Devils will travel to Pittsburgh, PA to take on the (6-4) Pittsburgh Panthers. Kickoff will Noon EST inside Acrisure Stadium. The last time these two teams matched up, the Panthers walked away with a 54-29 win.

The Blue Devils are coming into this one after taking down Virginia Tech, 24-7. They looked great on both sides of the ball, as they continued to consistently make stops throughout. They will be looking to replicate that performance in this one.

The Pittsburgh Panthers are entering this matchup after taking down Virginia, 37-3. The Panthers were spectacular on the defensive side of the field in that game, as they only surrendered 144 total yards. They will be looking to carry that momentum over into this one.

 

The Duke Blue Devils have now won three games in a row, as they sit in second place in the ACC Coastal division. They currently trail North Carolina, as they must keep winning if they want to win their division. On offense, the Blue Devils are scoring 33.7 points per game and they are averaging 419.5 total yards. This is the 32nd most points scored per contest and the 43rd most total yards. Duke is throwing for 215.6 passing yards per game, which is the 89th most in the nation. Riley Leonard will start at quarterback, as he has recorded 13 touchdown passes and five interceptions this season. He will look to throw the ball to Jalon Calhoun, as he leads the Blue Devils with 585 receiving yards and two touchdowns this season. They have also continued to lean on their rushing attack, as they are running for 203.8 yards per game. This is the 23rd most in the country, as Riley Leonard has led the way on the ground this season. He has already run for 625 yards and scored 10 touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the field, the Blue Devils have looked solid over this three-game winning streak. This season, they are allowing 21.5 points per game and 282.8 total yards. This is the 35th least amount of points given up per game and the 73rd least amount of yards. Their front seven has continued to dominate, as they have been able to clog the middle and consistently stop the run. They are only surrendering 121.8 rushing yards per game, which is the 28th least in the nation. Their secondary has also held its own, as they are only allowing 261 passing yards per game. This is the 107th most passing yards surrendered per contest, as they will have to be better against the pass in this one. Shaka Hayward continues to lead this defense, as he has recorded 75 total tackles this season, one interception, and one sack. Last week, he recorded nine total tackles and an interception, as he was all over the field against t he Hokies.
