There will be some Monday night madness in the ACC as the Duke Blue Devils travel to South Beach to take on the Miami Hurricanes. Duke comes in with a record of 17-6 overall and 8-4 in the ACC. It has certainly been a unique season for the Duke Blue Devils as they adjust to their first season in the post-Coach K era. As the calendar turned to February, it certainly is unusual to see Duke not amongst the Top-25 in college basketball. Still, the Blue Devils are still in the thick of the ACC standings, just a half game behind tonight's opponent, Miami, near the top of the ACC. On Saturday, the Blue Devils met long-time rival North Carolina at home and came away with a 63-57 win. The Blue Devils held UNC to just 34% shooting on the night and out-rebounded the Tar Heels, 46-40. Jeremy Roach led Duke with 20 points and seven rebounds on the night.

The Blue Devils will certainly be a tournament team this year but have yet to look like a dominant team, particularly on the offensive end. In conference play this season, Duke is just ninth in scoring offense. The Blue Devils are 11th in field goal percentage and 12th in 3pt field goal percentage. Duke has also been unusually slopping with the basketball, ranking 13th in the ACC in turnovers per game. Defensively, they have been sharp, ranking second in scoring defense. Duke is seventh in defensive field goal percentage and an impressive first in 3pt defense.
