The NBA season tipped off with a couple of games Tuesday night with a 12-game schedule on Wednesday.
DraftKings Sportsbook has an odds boost for the start of the NBA season. The odds for Kevin Durant to score at least 20 points against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday have been boosted from -1000 to +100.
This comes in the aftermath of a DraftKings odds boost for Monday night NFL action, that would have paid out if Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert threw just one touchdown pass. Even though Herbert had done that in 36 of 37 career starts before Monday, he did not throw a touchdown pass against the Denver Broncos.

Durant is one of the premier scoring forwards in NBA history. The 34-year-old was limited to 55 games last season and scored at least 20 points in 50 of those games. One of the five games that Durant did not hit the 20-point plateau was a 12-point effort against the New Orleans Pelicans on January 15. Durant only played 12 minutes in that game due to suffering a sprained knee that would cause him to miss the next six weeks of action.
