Devils vs. Golden Knights Odds, Picks, Predictions: New Jersey Heater Continues in Sin Cityiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

The New Jersey Devils take a 22-4-3 road record into T-Mobile Arena to face the Vegas Golden Knights in a showdown between Stanley Cup contenders. Here's SBR analyst Neil Parker's top NHL pick for Friday's contest based on the best NHL odds.

Both the Devils and Golden Knights have bolstered their lineups ahead of Friday's trade deadline. The two clubs are virtual locks to make the playoffs, and Friday's bout checks out as a tape-measuring matchup.

The Devils could also receive an offensive jolt if winger Timo Meier makes his debut. He's been nursing a minor upper-body injury and hasn't played since Feb. 18.

Here is our best Devils vs. Golden Knights NHL pick (odds via FanDuel; Pick confidence is based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

New Jersey is an analytical darling and a hellish matchup on the highway. The Devils boast the best goals for percentage (62.4%) and fourth-highest Corsi For percentage (51.4%) at five-on-five on the road this season, and the dominant fancy stats are also translating into victories – a lot of them.

The Devils can secure their 23rd road win and tie the Boston Bruins for the league lead by topping Vegas on Friday.

The Golden Knights will start Adin Hill for the third consecutive game Friday, and he's ripe for statistical correction after stopping 55 of 59 shots (.932 SV%) over his past appearances. Hill sports a career .909 mark, and the Devils bring a high-end offensive attack.

New Jersey is third in both goals (3.02) and expected goals (3.03) per 60 minutes at five-on-five, and the Devils have found the back of the net 19 times across their past three games.

The Devils are also scorching along an active 16-2-2 heater.

I've graded this as a two-star bet because there are so many unknowns here. There isn't a huge edge by shopping for the best odds across our best sportsbooks, either.

Devils vs. Golden Knights odds analysis

Our matchup page shows a slight majority of the moneyline betting support on the New Jersey side and the Over receiving 61% of the action.

There also hasn't been significant line movement on the moneyline or total. Both the Devils and the Over have been carrying the higher vig since opening, and that remains the case. It's worth noting that DraftKings did have an even -110 line for both teams on the moneyline briefly Friday morning, though.

FanDuel has the best number for the Over (-118) while PointsBet has the best odds for the Under (+105). Spread bettors will find the best odds for the Devils -1.5 through Draf tKings (+230), and Golden Knights +1.5 via BetMGM (-250).
