The Detroit Mercy Titans (8-13, 4-6 Horizon) pay a visit to Moon Township, Pennsylvania and the UPMC Events Center to play the Robert Morris Colonials (9-12, 4-6 Horizon) in an Horizon League game. This is the second time in two weeks the two have played, after Detroit Mercy defeated  Robert Morris 87-75 on January 14. Detroit Mercy was defeated by the Oakland Golden Grizzlies 76-67, snapping a two-game winning streak. Robert Morris beat the Green Bay Phoenix 72-38 last time out, snapping a three-game losing streak. Detroit Mercy and Robert Morris do not have any players listed on their respective injury reports

 Detroit's Antoine Davis is the leading scorer in the nation with an average of 26.4 points per game but was held to 14 points last time out and the Titans were defeated by Oakland. Detroit's biggest problem is on defense as the Titans are allowing an average of 76.9 points per game, while opponents are shooting 46.2% overall and 36.7% from behind the 3-point line. Detroit's offense cannot make up for that as the Titans are scoring an average of one point less per game at 75.9 points per game. Detroit Mercy has a field goal shooting percentage of 43.0% and a three-point shooting percentage of 38.5%.

 

Davis is scoring an average of 26.4 points per game and is also the leader in assists with an average of 3.4 dishes per contest. Gerard Liddell is the second leading scorer with an average of 16.5 points per game but is shooting only 43.2%. None of the top six scorers for Detroit Mercy are shooting above 49.2%. On the boards, Detroit Mercy averages 35.6 rebounds per game led by Damezi Anderson with an average of 4.6 boards per contest. Davis is the leader in steals with an average of 0.9 per game and Liddell is the rim protector with an average of 1.3 blocked shots per game.
