In the loss to Boston, Detroit won the rebounding battle 48-43 and made a whopping 31 of 40 free throws. But it wasn't enough as the Celtics drained 18 three pointers.

Rookie Jaden Ivey had another impressive showing with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists while Saddiq Bey added 18 points. Bojan Bogdanovic had 17 points while Killian Hayes scored 16. Jalen Duren had a double double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Cade Cunningham had an off night with only 4 points. Cunningham hurt his shin in the game and is listed as questionable for Friday. The Pistons are 25th in points per game and 27th in points against.
