Detroit Pistons (3-12) vs. Los Angeles Lakers (3-10)
The 2022-23 NBA season continues with an 11-game Friday card, bringing plenty of interesting markets to choose from, so we are breaking down the interconference clash between the Detroit Pistons and Los Angeles Lakers.
Detroit meets Los Angeles for the first time this season. The Lakers eye their fourth consecutive victory over the Pistons, but they haven’t covered the spread in six straight encounters with Detroit.
Thursday night’s games have been excluded from the analysis, and the Detroit Pistons visited the LA Clippers as 9.5-point underdogs at Crypto.com Arena. They were looking to stop a four-game slide, and the lowly Pistons have only won two games since a 113-109 victory to the Orlando Magic in their season opener.
Last Monday, the Pistons closed down a two-game homestand with a 115-111 defeat to the Toronto Raptors. They missed Cade Cunningham (19.9 PPG, 6.0 APG) due to a leg injury, while Isaiah Stewart (12.0 PPG, 9.3 RPG) exited with a toe injury and will sit out the next two weeks. Cunningham will remain on the shelf Friday, so the Pistons will be missing a couple of very important players.
Left it all on the court tonight.

They are dead last in the league in field goal percentage (42.9%) and rank 27th in 3-point percentage (32.7%). On the other side of the ball, the Pistons are surrendering the most points per 100 possessions in the NBA (118.4).
