Detroit Pistons at Chicago Bulls – 12/30/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Chicago Bulls play host to the Detroit Pistons at the United Center on Friday night.

The Detroit Pistons have been in a real slump as they’ve lost nine of their last 11 games overall, but they will be looking to build some momentum in this one after having their six-game losing streak halted with a 121-101 win over the Magic on Wednesday. Alec Burks shot six of seven from the 3-point line to lead the team with 32 points off the bench, Saddiq Bey added 28 points, eight rebounds and four assists while Bojan Bogdanovic chipped in with 14 points and five assists. As a team, the Pistons shot 45 percent from the field and 18 of 42 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates and always looked in control after exploding for 39 points in the second quarter to build an early 25-point lead.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bulls are starting to heat up now as they’ve won four of their last five games and they will be eager to stay hot after outlasting the Bucks in a 119-113 overtime home win on Wednesday. DeMar DeRozan led the team with 42 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, Zach LaVine added 24 points while Nikola Vucevic chipped in with 15 points, 14 rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Bulls shot 45 percent from the field and nine of 22 from the 3-point line as they clawed their way back from a 15-point deficit to force overtime where they held the Bucks to just seven points to escape with the gritty win.
