The Indianapolis Colts will host the Detroit Lions on Saturday afternoon in this NFC North vs AFC South preseason matchup. This will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The Indianapolis Colts took a ten point win in last years pre season match up.
The Detroit Lions have now lost four consecutive preseason games. Jared Goff played a nice amount of minutes in last week’s first pre season match up. The veteran Quarterback earned 3,245 passing yards with a 19 to 8 Touchdown to interception ratio last year. Tim Boyle and David Blough are battling for the backup spot and will see the action in this one. Blough had the most action, recording 141 passing yards while Boyle amassed 111 yards with one TD and one pick.
The Detroit Lions drafted Jameson Willams in the first round out of Alabama however he is out with a knee injury. The Detroit Lions also used the second overall pick on the defensive end, Aidan Hutchinson.
