It’s a Big East battle on the parquet floor as a pair of teams take the floor in the shadow of the City of Brotherly Love. The DePaul Blue Demons are on the road as they make the trip to take on the Villanova Wildcats Friday night. DePaul was crushed 84-58 at home by Creighton in their previous contest Tuesday night, failing to cover the line as a 16-point underdog. Villanova was knocked off 81-71 at home by St. John’s in their previous game Saturday, losing outright as a 3.5-point favorite. In the all-time series between the teams, the Wildcats own a commanding 34-8 advantage and have won the last two meetings. That includes an 84-48 road beatdown in the first meeting this season on December 23, 2023.
