The Big East Tournament tips off Wednesday with the 6th seeded Seton Hall Pirates taking on the 10th seeded DePaul Blue Demons. The Pirates come in with a record of 17-14 overall and 10-10 in the Big East while the Blue Demons are 9-22 overall and 3-17 in the Big East. Seton Hall won both head to head matchups versus DePaul, but DePaul is 1-0-1 against the spread. Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m. at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The DePaul Blue Demons come into this tournament as the second worst team in the Big East at 9-22 overall and 3-17 in the Big East. They have lost 12 straight games dating back to mid-January when they inexplicably beat Xavier 73-72. Since then it has been all downhill. They are coming off an 84-70 home loss to Creighton on Saturday as an 11.5 point underdog.

Javan Johnson led DePaul with 18 points with 4 threes and 5 assists. Nick Ongenda and Caleb Murphy each scored 13 for DePaul. Umoja Gibson leads the Blue Demons with 15,8 points and 4.8 assists per game, while Johnson averages 14,3 points per contest. As a team they average 70.3 points per game and give up 77.3 points per game.
