The 2022-23 NBA season goes on with a 11-game Saturday card and brings this interconference clash from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania when the Denver Nuggets travel to take on the Philadelphia 76ers at 3:00 p.m. ET
Denver has lost two of their last three games after falling to Milwaukee on Wednesday, 107-99. Philadelphia has won their last six games after they defeated Brooklyn on Wednesday, 137-133. These teams have not met this season but split the two contests last year with the road team winning both meetings.
The Denver Nuggets took a one-point lead coming out of the first quarter, but then watched Milwaukee roll from there, as the Bucks earned a 107-99 victory. Denver had won nine straight games (January 5-20), but has now dropped two of their last three. The team shot 39.2% from the field and were 12-16 from the free-throw line while Milwaukee was 20-28.
“We didn't get the outcome that we wanted, but I saw a lot of great things from our group tonight that will help us moving forward,” Nuggets coach Michael Malone said.

Aaron Gordon had 26 points and 14 rebounds, leading the Nuggets in both categories in the loss. He is third on the team in scoring (16.8 ppg). Leading scorer Nikola Jokic (25.1 ppg, 11.0 rpg, 9.9 apg) did not play in the contest, but is expected to be in the lineup for this game, although listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. Jamal Murray, Bruce Brown, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are also listed as day-to-day.
Denver is eighth in scoring (116.5 points per game) and have been outstanding shooting this season, second in field-goal percentage (50.7%) and first in three-point shooting (39.5%). However, they have not been as strong defensively, 12th in points allowed per game (112.4).
