Denver Nuggets (4-3) vs. Oklahoma City Thunder (4-3)
The 2022-23 NBA season goes on Thursday, November 3, with the Northwest Division showdown from Paycom Center in Oklahoma City where the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder continue their four-game regular-season series.
Back on October 22, the Nuggets outlasted the Thunder 122-117 but failed to cover a 9-point spread. Denver is a 5.5-point road fave this time around, while the totals sit at 229.5 points.
The Denver Nuggets (4-3; 3-4 ATS) finished October with a 121-110 defeat at the Los Angeles Lakers and failed to extend their winning streak to three games. Nikola Jokic led the way with 23 points, 14 rebounds, six assists, and a couple of blocks, while Jamal Murray added 21 points and five assists, but the Nuggets’ second unit was a complete disaster. Denver blew an eight-point lead late in the third quarter, finishing the game with 42.7% shooting from the field.
“They were playing with desperation and I felt like we had them and let it slip away,” Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon said.

The Nuggets have struggled to defend since the start of the season. They are yielding 116.4 points per 100 possessions (26th in the NBA) on 47.7% shooting from the field (22nd) and 36.6% from beyond the arc (21st).
Denver is scoring 113.5 points per 100 possessions, enough for the 14th-most in the league. The Nuggets’ offense ranks ninth in field goal percentage (47.7%) and fifth in 3-point percentage (39.4%). Bones Hyland (12.0 PPG, 3.7 APG) sat out the Lakers game due to a hip injury and is listed as questionable for Thursday’s battle in Oklahoma City. He had 26 points and seven triples in a 117-101 win to the Utah Jazz this past Friday.
