Denver Nuggets vs. Minnesota Timberwolves Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-5-2023

Denver Nuggets (36-16) vs. Minnesota Timberwolves (28-27)

The NBA betting action goes on Sunday, February 5, 2023, with the Denver Nuggets facing off against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Northwest Division showdown at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Minnesota and Denver continue their four-game regular-season series after splitting the first two contests. The Timberwolves miss Karl-Anthony Towns (calf), while the Nuggets might be without Nikola Jokic (hamstring).

Saturday’s games have been excluded from the analysis, and the 36-16 Denver Nuggets hosted the Atlanta Hawks, searching for their third consecutive victory. Over their previous two outings, the Nuggets have defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 122-113 as 7-point home favorites and the Golden State Warriors 134-117 as 6-point home favorites.

Jamal Murray scored 32 points against the Pels and dropped 33 on the Warriors, while Nikola Jokic posted a triple-double on both occasions. The Joker had 26 points, 18 rebounds, and 15 assists versus New Orleans while tallying 22 points, 14 boards, and 16 dimes against the reigning NBA champions. The Nuggets tortured Golden State last Thursday, making 56.7% of their field goals (16-for-35 from deep) and recording an excellent 35/13 assist-to-turnover ratio.

At the time of writing, Nikola Jokic was listed as questionable to play against the Hawks on Saturday night. Jokic has been dealing with a hamstring injury for weeks, and it’s unknown if he’ll be ready to go against Minnesota. Aaron Gordon (ankle) was questionable, too, and he sat out the Warriors game due to an injury.
