Denver Nuggets vs. Miami Heat Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-13-2023

The Miami Heat (32-25) will host the Denver Nuggets (39-18) in a Western vs Eastern Conference showdown on Monday night. The Nuggets beat the Heat 124-119 as a four-point home favorite when these teams played this season on December 30.

The West got a lot wilder just before the deadline with several contenders making big splashes. Whether or not they make it to the NBA Finals is yet to be determined, but the Denver Nuggets have the best record in the conference and are 4.5 games behind second-place Memphis. Denver is 26-4 at home this season, but will be tested on Monday as they are just 13-14 on the road. The Nuggets did add depth after the deadline by acquiring Reggie Jackson (12.9 ppg, 92.4% FT), who the Hornets waived after being traded by the Clippers.

Denver is 31-26 against the spread this season but only 11-16 in road games. The Nuggets are coming off a 119-105 road win over Charlotte on Saturday as a nine-point favorite. Nikola Jokic led the team with a 30-point, 16 rebounds, 10 assists triple-double. Jokic is averaging 24.9 ppg, 11.4 rebounds, and 10.1 assists and has 20 triple-doubles this season.
