Denver (14-7 SU, 8-13 ATS) travels to Los Angeles to take on the Clippers (9-10 SU, 7-12 ATS) on Wednesday night as the NBA gets back to regular-season competition at 10pmET from Crypto.com Arena.

These teams have already met twice this season with Denver winning 111-108 on Nov. 14 and 113-104 on Nov.  27 from Los Angeles as a 11.5-point underdog.

On Nov. 27, Denver managed to beat the Clippers without guard Jamal Murray and center Nikola Jokic. Guard Reggie Jackson stepped up in that game with 35 points on 15-of-19 shooting. The Nuggets haven't played since Saturday, when they fell 123-117 at Sacramento when Jackson scored 20 points and Jokic led the way with 36 points, 14 assists and 13 rebounds. With Murray still out with an ankle injury, Denver's already thin bench gets thinner. Murray is listed as questionable tonight and the good thing with him out, is that they've found a reliable backup in Jackson.

They also re-discovered DeAndre Jordan, the 35-year-old pivot who was drafted by the Clippers in 2008. He stepped in for Jokic on Nov. 27 and scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds with five assists. He hasn't come close to those numbers in the last three games with Jokic out, but Jordan showed that he can still put up num bers on occasion. Jokic is having another MVP-caliber start with 29 points, 12.8 rebounds and 9.8 assists on 56.8% shooting and 38.1% from long range.

Overall, Denver ranks 7th in points allowed (110.4ppg), 13th in field goal defense (46.7%) and 11th in three-point defense (36.1%). They rank 30th in free throw shooting (70.4%), which is odd, considering the fact that they rank 3rd in field goal shooting (49.5%).
