Denver at UCLA – 12/10/22 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Denver Pioneers will head west to Los Angeles and face the UCLA Bruins in non-conference action this weekend from the Pauley Pavilion on the Pac 12 Network.

Denver dropped to 7-2 after losing to Sacramento State on the road. The Pioneers and the Hornets took things to overtime, where the visitors would have their six-game winning streak snapped with a two-point loss. Denver is scoring 79.6 points per game, while shooting 52.5% from the floor, and 33.8 from three.

Denver got a pretty diverse group, going about seven deep after an injury to second-leading scoring Tevin Smith. Jacksonville transfer Tommy Bruner has got it going in his absence, scoring 20 or more in each of the past three games, including a season-high 26 points in overtime win over Sacramento State. Bruner is leading the team in scoring (15.6) and assists (4.2). Tyree Corbett has come over from Coppin State to control the middle, and he’s done well so far, posting four double-doubles, and leading the Pioneers in rebounding (9.6), while scoring 12.3 ppg.
