Non-conference basketball continues into early December when the Delaware Blue Hens (5-3, 5-2 ATS) travel to take on the Xavier Musketeers (4-4, 5-3 ATS) on Tuesday night. Delaware just lost on the road to Ohio, going down 74-73 as 7.5-point underdogs. Xavier just played in the Big East/Big 12 Battle against Houston, but lost 66-60 as 8.5-point home dogs. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 EST from the Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, and can be found on FS1.

The Delaware Blue Hens started the season with five straight wins, they were favored in each game with their best win coming over Brown where they were only favored by 1.5 points. Delaware then lost their next three games, with their most recent loss coming to the Ohio Bobcats by one point. Delaware actually led at the half 36-28, and held the lead until the last three minutes where Ohio took over. Delaware was led by forward Jyare Davis with 17 points in the loss.

Davis is a 6'7 senior who leads the team in scoring with 18.0 PPG and adds 7.7 RPG. Davis started every game for Delaware last season and has a strong inside-out game as he can stretch the floor with his jump shot as well. He had 17 last game against Ohio, and dropped 23 in the previous game against George Washington. Gerald Drumgoole Jr. is a 6'5 transfer from Albany adding 12.5 PPG, he has had double figures in the last three games including a 22 point game against UNC Greensboro. Cavan Reilly is a 6'4 guard adding 11.7 PPG, and is the top shooter on the team with 18 made threes on the season. Their top rebounder is a 6'6 guard, Christian Ray averages 9.0 RPG with 8.8 PPG.

Delaware is ranked 144th in the nation according to KenPom. Their offense ranks 131st in the nation in efficiency and their defense ranks 283rd. The Blue Hens do not play very fast on offense, their tempo ranks 206th in the nation based upon their amount of possessions per game.
