Fierce rivals get the opportunity to end each other's season, with the Delaware Blue Hens (17-15, 13-17-1 ATS, 8-10 CAA) advancing in the CAA Tournament to tackle the Towson Tigers (20-11, 16-15-0 ATS, 12-6 CAA). The home team took both meetings in the regular season, as these schools split wins decided by double-digits. There's going to be a lot at stake on Sunday night. Delaware fought hard to advance on Saturday night, outlasting Northeastern 77-74 in overtime. The Blue Hens had pushed the lead to 12 in the second half, behind a 36.8% shooting night from beyond the arc, but the Huskies clawed back to keep the game going. Jameer Nelson Jr. had another tremendous scoring night, finishing with 28 points in the win.

The junior averaged 20.5 points per game this season, which was 18th in the nation. He spearheaded an offense that put up 69.7 points per game. They also shot well from the floor, 44.3%, and the charity stripe, 72.6%. Threes weren't as easy, with the Blue Hens only hitting 32.5% this season.
Their three-point defense could also get them in trouble. They allowed foes to knock down 37.3%, the second-worst rate in the CAA and a number that was worse than 340th nationally. Delaware was second in the conference in both steals and blocks, with 6.9 and 4.1 per game, respectively. The Blue Hens' opponents shot 44.5% from the floor this season.
The Blue Hens are now a perfect 3-0 in neutral-court contests this season. KenPom has them rated 227th in the nation. They've won their last four, with the last loss coming against Towson.
