The Dayton Flyers and the Wyoming Cowboys will face off in Chicago at the Legends of Basketball Showcase this weekend from the United Center on CBSSN.
Dayton improved to 6-5 after defeating UNC Asheville at home last weekend. The Flyers took a 15-point lead into the break, and poured it on even further, picking up their largest D1 victory of the season. Dayton is scoring 65.2 points per game, while allowing 61.1 ppg, and shooting 43.3% from the floor.
Daron Holmes II has been dominant again this Fall. The sophomore big has posted four straight double-doubles, and he scored a season-high 27 points in the win over UNC Asheville. Holmes leads the Flyers in scoring (16.6), while grabbing 7.9 rpg. Toumani Camara is one of the best defenders in the country, but he’s been thriving on the offensive end this year. Camara scored a season-high 20 points in the win over SELA to bring his season averages to 11.1 ppg, and a team-leading 9.1 rpg.
