Sundays are a little less crowded these days, which is why at 1:00 p.m. EDT, the A-10 has a conference clash taking place this weekend. The Davidson Wildcats (12-8; 9-9-0 ATS) are headed to Joseph J. Gentile Arena for the first time since 2019, where the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers (14-7; 9-11-0 ATS) await. That meeting ended with a Davidson win, just like last season's lone matchup. Will 2024 finish the same way, or are the Ramblers ready to beat the Wildcats?

Davidson is not having fun in conference play, as they own a 2-5 A-10 record entering this one. Their last contest was a 63-58 home loss to VCU. Even with the loss, the Wildcats had a great defensive performance, in line with their season numbers. Davidson holds their foes to 67.4 points per game. Those opponents shoot 42.3% from the floor, 33.2% on threes, and attempt 16.5 free throws per contest. Davidson's rebounding (+1.0) and turnover (+1.0) differentials are both positive. The Wildcats dip on the road (75.5 points allowed) but is the key to the team's success.

On the other end of the floor, Davidson is putting up 72.2 points per game. Led by Grant Huffman (13.5 ppg), the Wildcats shoot 43.8% from the floor, 33.0% from beyond the arc, and 71.8% at the free throw line on 19.7 attempts. Davidson isn't a strong offensive rebounding club (9.6 per game), but they're strong at protecting the ball (10.4 turnovers per game). Can this team, which slightly improves on the road, get back in the win column?
