Dartmouth at Yale – 1/6/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Dartmouth Big Green and Yale Bulldogs face off on Friday in a college basketball showdown at the Lee Amphitheater. When these two teams faced off last February it was Yale that secured the 66-61 victory. 

Dartmouth comes into this game with a 4-11 record and they have gone 4-8-1 against the spread. In the last game against Cornell, the offense only scored 63 points and that led to the 11-point defeat. Demi Adelekun finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Dartmouth is averaging 68.5 points while their defense is giving up 67.9 points per game. The offense is ranked 268th, and going forward they need to find a way to get the offense going. Ryan Cornish is averaging 11.2 points while shooting 40 percent from the field and 32.8 percent from behind the three-point line. 

On the other side of this matchup is Yale who sits with a 10-4 record overall and they have gone 9-3 against the spread. In the last game against Columbia, they were competitive and made a comeback but it wasn’t enough as they ended up losing 62-60. In the first half they only scored 20 points. Yale is averaging 75.4 points while their defense is giving up 56.9 points per game. The defense for this team has been the strength and is ranked 7th best in the league. Matt Knowling has been the top player for Yale averaging 16.2 points while shooting 63 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from behind the three point line.
