Dallas Stars vs. Seattle Kraken Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 5-7-2023

The Dallas Stars face the Seattle Kraken in Game Three of the Second Round in what's been an exciting series thus far. The Stars lost the first game in overtime but bounced back with a 4-2 win in Game Two to even up the series. The Kraken won Game One 5-4 but stumbled in the second game and are hoping to return to form on their home ice. The winner of Game Three will take a 2-1 series lead and the upcoming game should be a great one.

The Stars have evened up this series with their offense stepping up, scoring eight goals in the first two games of the series. Joe Pavelski and Max Domi have scored five goals and four assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has been great as well. Tyler Seguin, Wyatt Johnston, and Jamie Benn have combined for two goals and four assists while defenseman Thomas Harley has added two assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has carried the Stars but the defense has struggled, allowing seven goals in the first two games. Ryan Suter and Miro Heiskanen have led the top pairing but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing the Kraken to find open shots on the net at will. Additionally, goaltender Jake Oettinger has struggled in the series, allowing seven goals on only 71 shots.
