Dallas Stars vs. Seattle Kraken Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 5-13-2023

The Dallas Stars face the Seattle Kraken in Game Six of the Second Round. The Stars, who trailed 2-1 in the series, won back-to-back games to take a 3-2 series lead. The Kraken lost Game Five 5-2 and now head back home with their back against the wall. The Stars look to advance to the Western Conference Final with a win while the Kraken hope to even up the series and force a Game Seven and Game Six should be a great one as a result.

The Stars have taken over this series with their offense leading the way, scoring 21 goals including 11 goals in the last two games. Joe Pavelski, Max Domi, and Roope Hintz have scored 12 goals and nine assists but the entire offense has been great. Jamie Benn, Evgenii Dadonov, and Jason Robertson have combined for two goals and 12 assists while defensemen Thomas Harley and Jani Hankanpaa have added two goals and five assists from the point to put the offense over the top.

The offense has been great but the defense has stepped up as well, allowing only five goals in the last two games. Miro Heiskanen and Ryan Suter have led the top pairing while Esa Lindell, Jani Hakanpaa, and Thomas Harley have added depth to the unit, creating turnovers in all three zones and limiting shots on the net. The hope is that goaltender Jake Oettinger steps up as he has struggled in this series, allowing 17 goals on 138 shots.
