Dallas Stars vs. Arizona Coyotes Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 3-31-2023

The Dallas Stars face the Arizona Coyotes with both teams on opposite ends of the standings to close out the season. The Stars have a 40-20-14 record and have the second-best record in the Central Divison while the Coyotes have a 27-35-13 record and are near the bottom of the Western Conference. Both teams are looking to improve in the conference to end the season on a high note and the upcoming game looks to be a good one as a result.

The Stars are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.41 goals per game. Jason Robertson, Joe Pavelski, and Jamie Benn have scored 94 goals and 136 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has stepped up as well. The offense has been great but the defense has carried the Stars, allowing only 2.73 goals per game with only six goals in the last three games. Esa Lindell and Miro Heiskanen have combined for 9.6 defensive point shares and 226 blocked shots while Jani Hakanpaa, Ryan Suter, and Colin Miller have combined for 11.3 defensive point shares to add depth to the unit. Additionally, goaltender Jake Oettinger has been great with a .917 save percentage and a 2.47 goals-against average on 1645 shots with 21.7 goals saved above average.
