The Dallas Mavericks steamrolled through the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night in a 119-107 victory, the team's second in a row. Kyrie Irving, in his first appearance back in Brooklyn since being traded last year, scored 36 points while Luka Doncic had another dominant game with 35 points, 18 rebounds, and nine assists as the Mavericks jumped out to an 18-point lead at the half and cruised to victory. The game marked the second straight game that the Mavs have had both Irving and Doncic healthy together, both games victories.

“Just like any other basketball game, but it felt like I was home tonight,” Irving said.

The Mavericks are getting healthier and the team hopes that will turn into more consistency down the stretch. The Mavs come into MSG with the 10th-ranked scoring offense in the NBA. They are 16th in field goal shooting and 9th in 3-point shooting. The Mavs are also second in the league in 3-point field goals made per game. On the defensive end, Dallas is ranked 21st in scoring defense. The Mavs are 22nd in field goal defense and 18th in 3-point defense. The Mavs are 25th in total rebounding per game. With the likes of Irving and Doncic controlling the ball, it is no surprise that the Mavs are 2nd in the NBA in fewest turnovers per game.

Key Injuries: C Dereck Lively II and G Dante Exum are both questionable.
