Tennessee saw their skid continue as they were beaten 19-14 at home by Houston, losing outright as a three-point favorite, Saturday afternoon in their previous contest. In the all-time regular season series between the teams, Dallas owns an 8-7 advantage but it was the Titans picking up a 28-14 road win in the most recent matchup on November 5, 2018.

Dallas bounced back from a disappointing overtime road loss to Jacksonville as they took down the Eagles in a high-scoring affair Saturday afternoon. The Cowboys improved to 11-4 on the season and have secured a playoff berth: to win the division, they need to win their final two and have the Eagles drop their last two. Against Philadelphia Saturday, Dallas trailed 10-0 early, by 20-17 at the half, 27-17 midway through the third quarter and 34-27 with 9:59 to play before regrouping. The Cowboys’ defense made a couple of timely plays and the offense scored the game’s final 13 points to earn the win. Dallas was outgained 442-419 in total offense while winning time of possession by a 32:18 to 27:42 margin. Each team finished with 25 first downs but turnovers were the difference: Dallas forced four turnovers, leading to 20 points, while committing only one, though it was a pick-six.

This s eason, the Cowboys are 16th in the league in passing offense with 222.9 yards per contest. Dallas is 7th in rushing offense with 143.1 yards per game this season. The Cowboys are 3rd in scoring offense as they average 28.9 points a night. Dallas stands 6th in the league in scoring defense as they give up an average of 20.2 points a contest. Dak Prescott has hit 218 of 316 passes for 2,450 yards with 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions on the year. He has been sacked 18 times for 108 yards in losses while adding 155 yards plus a score on the ground. Cooper Rush (94 of 161, 1051 yards, five TD, three INT) is the backup quarterback who saw action after Prescott broke his thumb in the opener. Ezekiel Elliott is second on the team with 204 carries for 829 yards and 11 touchdowns on the season. Tony Pollard adds 186 carries for a team-high 988 yards and nine scores this season. CeeDee Lamb (91 grabs, 1207 yards, eight touchdowns), Dalton Schultz (46 receptions, 488 yards, three TD), Noah Brown (41 grabs, 538 yards, three TD) and Michael Gallup (35 catches, 375 yards, four TD) are all valuable targets in the passing game. Elliott adds 17 receptions for 92 yards while Pollard adds 39 grabs for 371 yards plus three scores, giving the Cowboys a pair of valuable safety valves out of the backfield. Brett Maher has booted 22 of 25 extra point attempts and 19 of 24 field goal attempts with a long of 56 on the year.

On the injury front, Pollard (thigh) and linebacker Leighton Vander Esch (neck) did not practice Monday. Safety Jayron Kearse (elbow/back) along with defensive ends Sam Williams (concussion) and Demarcus Lawrence (foot) were limited in practice.
