The Colorado State Rams will take on the 8th-ranked Creighton Bluejays in the finals of the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City on Thanksgiving afternoon. The Colorado State Rams came into this tournament with the 21st-ranked offense in the nation after their first four games. They poured in 86 points against Boston College and rolled to an 86-74 victory. The Rams led the whole way and the Eagles were able to get to within four points twice but were unable to get any closer. Isaiah Stevens led Colorado State with 18 points and eight assists while Nique Clifford scored 16 points in the opening-round victory. Josiah Strong, Joel Scott, and Patrick Courtier rounded out the double-digit scoring with 15 points, 14 points, and 10 points for the Rams.
Colorado State is now 5-0 on the season and gets its first crack at a Top 25 team in the title game vs. Creighton. They come in ranked 21st in the nation in points per game and seventh in field goal percentage. Against the Eagles, the Rams shot 56% from the floor overall and nearly 42% from three-point range.
