Cornell at Dartmouth – 1/1/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Cornell Big Red will head up to Hanover and face the Dartmouth Big Green in Ivy League play this Sunday from the Leede Arena on ESPN.

Cornell improved to 10-3 after beating Binghamton at home on Thursday. The Big Red closed non-conference play on a good note, outscoring the Bearcats in both halves and covering the 13-point spread. Cornell scores 84.8 points per game, while allowing 72.4 ppg and shooting 49.2 from the field. Greg Dolan scored a season-high 25 points in the win over in-state foe Colgate, and he leads Cornell in scoring (13.8) and assists (4.6). Sophomore guard Nazir Williams (12.7 ppg) has reached double figures in 12 of 13 games this season, and he went for a season-high 23 points in the win over Binghamton.

Dartmouth dropped to 5-10 after losing to UMass on the road. The Big Green led by seven points at the break, but they failed to hold off the Minuteman, and lost 68-57. Dartmouth scores 68.9 points per game, while allowing 67.5 ppg, and shooting 42.2% from the field. Senior forward Dame Adelekun has been effective upfront, leading the team in rebounding (7.3), while scoring 10.5 ppg.
