The Coppin State will head down to DC /and face the George Washington Colonials in non-conference action this Tuesday from the Smith Center.

Coppin State is 4-8 after falling to East Carolina in Greenville. The Eagles competed well, and even took a five-point lead into the break, but the Pirates took control in the second and handed CSU their fifth loss in the last six games.

Coppin State scores 76.2 points per game, while shooting 45.4% from the floor, and 34.7% from deep. Sam Sessions leads the way for Juan Dixon’s squad, and he’s got the green light ever since coming over from Penn State. Sessions has scored 22 or more in each of his last five outings, including a 35-point showing versus Loyola, and he leads Coppin in scoring (23.8) and assists (5.9).
