The UConn Huskies are on the road as they make the trip to take on the Rice Owls Saturday afternoon. UConn was edged 34-33 at home by Utah State in their previous contest last Saturday, though they did cover the line as a four-point underdog. Rice took down East Carolina 24-17 at home last Saturday, covering the line as a 3.5-point favorite. This marks the first time that the two programs have battled on the gridiron as FBS opponents.
