Columbus Blue Jackets vs. Washington Capitals Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 3-21-2023

It’s a Metropolitan Division battle on the ice between a team well out of the playoff picture and one fighting to earn their spot on the ice in The Peg. The Columbus Blue Jackets continue a road swing as they travel to face the Washington Capitals Tuesday night. Columbus was routed 7-2 on the road by Vegas in their previous contest Sunday afternoon. Washington was on the road in Minnesota Sunday and found themselves on the wrong end of a 5-3 score at the hands of the Wild Sunday afternoon. In the last 10 meetings between the teams, the Capitals own a 7-3 advantage and have won four straight meetings. That includes a 4-3 overtime road win in the most recent meeting January 31.
