The Colorado Buffaloes are on the road as they make the trip within the state to face the #20 Colorado State Rams Wednesday night. Colorado comes in off an 85-68 home win over Iona Sunday in their previous contest, though they failed to cover the line as a 19.5-point favorite. Colorado State drubbed #8 Creighton 69-48 in the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City Thursday night. In the all-time series between the schools, the Buffaloes own a 33-22 advantage and have taken the last three meetings. That includes a 93-65 home win in the most recent matchup on December 8, 2022.

Colorado bounced back from an overtime loss to Florida State as they took care of business against Iona Sunday in their previous contest. The Buffaloes improved to 5-1 on the season with the win and they look to drop Colorado State for the fourth straight meeting. Against Iona, Colorado led by as many as six in the first half and by five at halftime. The Buffaloes were up only eight with 12:10 to play in the game before going on an 11-0 run to go in front 70-51 with 8:41 remaining and weren’t pushed the rest of the way. Colorado shot 60.8% from the field, including six of 17 from three-point range, and won the rebounding battle 35-25. Tristan da Silva led five Buffaloes in double figures as he put up 17 points in the victory.

For the season, the Buffaloes are averaging 82.7 points per game to date, putting them 53rd in the nation in scoring offense.
