The 3-2 Colorado Buffaloes and head coach Deion Sanders have faced a challenging beginning in Pac-12 play, remaining winless in the conference after back-to-back losses to the CFP National Championship hopeful Oregon Ducks and USC Trojans in the past two weeks.
Although Colorado is favored by more than a field goal against the hosting Arizona State Sun Devils, we're shifting our focus to a different market for this Pac-12 matchup as part of our college football predictions for Week 6.

Colorado vs. Arizona State prediction: Week 6
The market is still unsure about what to do with Colorado. The Buffaloes, who won just one game in 2022 before Coach Prime took over this past offseason, looked legit when they started the season off with wins over TCU and Nebraska.
Colorado began to show its flaws during an overtime victory over Colorado State, and then Oregon blew out the Buffaloes. But the Buffs gave the USC Trojans a bit of a scare as roughly three-touchdown underdogs with a late rally during a 48-41 clash.
Now we've been seeing this Week 6 spread oscillate between -4 and -6 in favor of Colorado. However, rather than taking a stance on the full-game line, we like the idea of getting in below a key number with this first-half spread in a game we project the Buffs to win by a touchdown.
Colorado certainly comes into this matchup with some momentum after scoring 27 second-half points against USC. There's a chance that leads to a strong start against an Arizona State squad allowing 14.3 points per game in the first half during 2023.
Coach Prime stressed the importance of a fast start during his weekly press conference on Tuesday.
“We just have to have a consistency and a continuation,” Sanders told local reporters. “Especially early. The challenge and the goal is we have to win the first and second quarter.”
If the Buffs achieve their goal this week, there's a good chance we'll be cashing this ticket. This four-star pick is playable at -2.5 or better, preferably with the standard -110 odds.
