Colorado State at Washington State 9/17/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The Colorado State Rams and Washington State Cougars face off on Saturday in a Week 3 college football showdown at Martin Stadium.

Washington State comes into this game with a perfect 2-0 record and they were quite impressive in the last game. Washington State opened up the season with a 24-17 victory over Idaho and in the last game they beat Wisconsin 17-14. Under center for Washington State is Cameron Ward and in the last game he completed 17 of his 28 passes for 200 yards, one touchdowns, and two interceptions. Even in the last game, Washington State didn’t get a lot of offense going, and that will need to be improved upon here. In this game if the defense is good again, Washington State is going to need to be better.

On the other side of this matchup is Colorado State and they have looked really bad so far this season. In the first game against Michigan, they lost 51-7 and in the last game against Middle Tennessee State they lost 34-19. Clay Millen is under center for the Rams and in the last game, he completed 20 of his 30 passes for 256 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions. Wide receiver Tory Horton also had a big game catching nine passes for 186 yards and three touchdowns. In this game, though if they want any chance to keep this game close they are going to need the defense to be good. If the defense struggles, they are going to have issues here.
