Colorado State at Nevada  – 1/4/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Colorado State Rams and Nevada Wolf Pack face off on Wednesday in a college basketball showdown at the Lawlor Events Center. When these two teams faced off in February of last year it was Colorado State that secured the 82-72 victory, 

Colorado State comes into this game with an 8-7 record overall and they have gone 5-9 against the spread. In the last game against San Jose State, Colorado State scored 78 points and they won by eight points. Two games ago against New Mexico, they were defeated 88-69. Colorado State is averaging 75.3 points while their defense is giving up 69.8 points per game. John Tonje is having a strong season averaging 14 points while shooting 49.1 percent from the field and 40.5 percent from behind the three point line. 

On the other side of this matchup is Nevada who sits with a 12-3 record overall and they have gone 9-4-1 against the spread. In the last game against Air Force, Nevada scored 75 points and that was enough to secure the six point victory. Jarod Lucas was the top player for Nevada scoring 28 points and grabbing three rebounds. Nevada is averaging 73.2 points while their defense is giving up 65.1 points per game. The defense is ranked 90th in the league. Jared Lucas is averaging 17.4 points while shooting 39.7 percent from the field and 39.4 percent from behind the three point line.
