The Colorado Rockies (51-67, 64-54 RL, 57-56-5 O/U) take on the St. Louis Cardinals (64-51, 63-52 RL, 54-57-4 O/U) as the NL foes conclude a three-game series on Thursday afternoon. The Rockies will have Antonio Senzatela on the hill. The Cardinals will reply with Adam Wainwright. The season series is 2-2 entering Wednesday night. 

Antonio Senzatela will get the nod for the 19th time of the season on Wednesday. Senzatela was effective in his previous start, allowing three runs in six innings against the Diamondbacks, leading to another no-decision in a game the Rockies won. The veteran right-hander features a 3.79 ERA in his three starts this month and has improved his season ERA to 4.67 along with a 16.5 WHIP to go with a 3-7 record in 90.2 innings of work. Senzatela is 2-3 with a 5.11 ERA in seven career battles against the Cardinals. 

Colorado is having trouble winning games. They have only registered one series win all month which occurred against this Cardinals squad at Coors Field last week. They have lost eight out of their last ten road bouts. 

Ryan McMahon has fared well against t he Cardinals' pitching, bashing two homers with three RBIs in four games. The 27-year-old second baseman is having a breakout season, collecting 54 RBIs accompanied by a strong .744 OPS. McMahon has logged a 1.1 OPS on the month. 

The Rockies are posting 4.55 runs per game, ranking them ninth overall.  The pitching staff has logged a 5.02 team ERA, pegging them 28th in the Major Leagues.
