Colorado Rockies vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 4-3-2023

The Los Angeles Dodgers (2-2) will host the Colorado Rockies (2-2) on Monday to open a short two game series. The Dodgers were a -240 favorite with the total set at 8.5 as of Monday morning.

The Colorado Rockies opened up the season with two upset wins over the Padres before losing 8-4 on Saturday and 3-1 on Sunday. Last season Colorado went 68-94 with most of the struggles coming on the road where they went just 27-54. The franchise has not been to the postseason since 2018, and this season is not full of high expectations.

The offense got off to a solid start. Colorado is tied for fourth in MLB with six home runs and tied for 11th with 16 runs scored. C.J. Cron is off to a hot start with half of the home runs and seven RBI, but he did not reach base in any of his four plate appearances in Sunday's loss.

Ryan Feltner will start on Monday. Last season he made 20 appearances and 19 starts posting a 4-9 record with a 5.83 ERA and 1.41 WHIP. In two games against the Dodgers Feltner went 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA.
