Colorado Rockies vs Arizona Diamondbacks Analysis
The Colorado Rockies host the Arizona Diamondbacks in the first of a three game weekend series. The Rockies split the first two games of their series with the Card inals and the third game was still in progress as of this writing, and Arizona split their first two games with the Pirates, with the third game also still in progress.
Zach Davies will toe the rubber for the Snakes and Antonio Senzatela takes the bump for the Rox. First pitch at Coors Field is scheduled for 8:40 PM EDT.
Both teams are in the bottom of the NL West as Arizona is 4th with a 50-60 mark and the Rockies are last with a 49-64 record. The D-backs have played better than expected this year, while the Rockies are where most baseball analysts (including yours truly) thought they’d be at this part of the season.
