The Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres face off on Wednesday in an MLB showdown at Petco Park. The Padres have won all three games of this series and the Rockies have scored only eight runs total. 

The Rockies come into this game with a 46-60 record overall and they look to have lost any type of confidence. The Rockies offense overall has been good, but the pitching has been a real issue. On the other side of this matchup is the Padres who sit with a 60-46 record overall and they made some big moves at the trade deadline including bringing in Juan Soto and Josh Bell.  In the second game of the doubleheader on Tuesday, it was Trent Grisham that hit the walk-off home run, and sent the home fans home happy. The Padres pitching has been the strength o this team giving up 4.03 runs per game which is 9th in the league. Manny Machado has hit 18 home runs and driven in 58 RBIs.
