The Colorado Rockies and New York Mets face off on Friday in an MLB game at Citi Field. On Thursday it was the Mets that were able to secure the 3-1 victory.

On the other side of this matchup is the Rockies who sit with a 54-72 record overall and they have lost two games in a row. Two games against the Colorado Rockies the pitching gave up 16 runs on the way to the defeat. The biggest issue this season for the Rockies has been the pitching and they are giving up 5.52 runs per game which is 30th in the league. The top offensive player has been C.J. Cron and he has hit 24 home runs and driven in 83 RBIs so for this season.
