The Colorado Avalanche face the Dallas Stars in a matchup between two of the best teams in the NHL. The Avalanche have a 34-20-5 record and with seven wins in their last 10 games have jumped into third place in the Central Division. The Stars have a 33-16-13 record and with back-to-back wins are in first place in the Central Division. Both teams look to remain near the top of the division and the Western Conference and the upcoming game should be a great one.

The Avalanche are having a great season with their offense stepping up and scoring 3.15 goals per game. Moreover, goaltender Alexandar Georgiev has been remarkable with a .921 save perce ntage and a 2.57 goals-against average on 1365 shots with 21.3 goals saved above average.
