The Colorado Avalanche (10-5-0, 20 points, 2nd Central) take to the road on Saturday to visit Central division rival the Dallas Stars (11-3-1, 23 points, 1st Central) in a battle between the top two teams in the division. Colorado defeated the Anaheim Ducks 8-2 on Wednesday and have won each of the last two and are within three points of first place Dallas. The Stars defeated the Arizona Coyotes 4-3 in overtime on Tuesday and have won four straight to pass Colorado. Colorado will play without G Pavel Francouz, LW  Gabriel Landeskog, LW Artturi Lehkonen and RW Chris Wagner. Dallas will play without D Jerad Rosburg.
