Another big game resulted in another big loss for James Franklin and his Penn State Nittany Lions last week, as a close game at half turned into a 17-41 blowout at Michigan. Once again, senior QB Sean Clifford was pedestrian when they needed him most, throwing for just 120 yards on the day with no touchdowns. With the typical middle-of-the-road offense, the defense largely let Penn State down in this one, giving up over 550 yards on the day, 418 of which came on the ground.
