Arkansas was without QB KJ Jefferson due to a head injury on Saturday against Mississippi State and, not surprisingly, lost 40-17. HC Sam Pittman came clean on Sunday, saying that it was never the plan to play Jefferson against the Bulldogs. Which is another way of saying Jefferson was ruled out early in the week (despite Pittman saying on gameday that Jefferson was active and ready to go).
