College football Week 6 best player prop bets — Pickswise

Five weeks in, the 2022 college football has already been a wild ride with plenty of upsets, some thrilling finishes, surprising teams and big disappointments. What will be in store as the month of October continues? Week 6 includes a 3:30 pm ET CBS showdown between SEC rivals Georgia and Auburn, while a Big Ten battle later in the day pits Ohio State against Michigan State. There are 3 all-top 25 showdowns, as well.

Here are my favorite player props, and also be sure to check out all of our coverage on the college football page.

C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State Under 330.5 passing yards (-115)

Stroud is obviously one of the best players in the nation, but 330.5 is a big number – for anyone. The star sophomore has exceeded this line just twice in 5 games so far in 2022 and in the other 3 games he did throw for more than 281 yards. Last season he surpassed it in only 2 road games, first against a terrible Nebraska team and then during a loss to Michigan in which Ohio State trailed the entire way and Stroud had to throw the ball 49 times. Michigan State is not terrible, nor is Ohio State likely to trail much – if at all. The Spartans' best defense may be trying to keep the Buckeyes' offense off the field, so look for the home team to run it as much as possible and keep the clock moving.

Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia Over 41.5 receiving yards (-115)
