College football Week 10 best player prop bets — Pickswise

It is already Week 10 of the 2022 college football season and things are starting to get serious. The first College Football Playoff rankings have been revealed and at least 1 game this weekend is certain to have huge National Championship implications. Tennessee versus Georgia is a matchup of #1 and #3 in the CFP rankings, #2 and #1 in the AP poll and #3 and #1 in the coaches poll. Overall, it should be a wildly entertaining Saturday with plenty of other big games – including 3 more all-top 25 affairs.

Let's take a look at my favorite player props, and be sure to check out all of our coverage on the college football page.

Bo Nix, QB, Oregon Over 264.5 passing yards (-115)

Nix has gone over this number in 3 consecutive contests in and in 5 of the last 7. This stretch includes a 428-yard effort against Washington State and 412 yards just last weekend at Cal's expense. It should also be noted that Nix has accounted for 11 total touchdowns over the past 2 games and Oregon has scored 70, 41, 44, 45, 49, 45 and 42 points since its opening loss to Georgia. The Ducks are on an absolute roll right now and it should continue against Colorado. The Buffaloes are allowing a horrendous 8.1 yards per pass attempt, have given up 18 passing touchdowns while making only 3 interceptions and are tied for last in the entire nation with 6 sacks. The only way Nix’s numbers would be down on Saturday is if Oregon gets up by a ton and just starts running the ball, but that is unlikely to happen even in a blowout. The Ducks have racked up their 7 wins by an average of 22.6 points and at #8 in the CFP rankings they will want to impress the committee as much as possi ble. There is no reason to think Colorado has any chance of containing Nix, so a relatively modest 264.5 number makes this my favorite play of the week.

Josh Downs, WR, North Carolina Over 80.5 receiving yards (-115)
