College Football Player Prop bets & Odds Week 3: Best Props This Week
College Football Player Prop bets & Odds Week 3: Best Props This Weekiv class=”bodyContent col-lg-9 mb-3″>

After another winning week, our Week 3 college football player props aim to stay hot and make the most of an exciting weekend slate featuring plenty of college football championship odds contenders.

In the season's early stages, I'm targeting discounted lines at our best sportsbooks while focusing on undervalued players. That certainly worked in my favor last week, as Mario Williams and Aidan Chiles crushed their respective yardage props.

As part of our Week 3 college football predictions, here are four players worth backing ahead of the weekend.

College football player prop bets for Week 3

College football odds as of Thursday and subject to change. Track the college football scores for the latest line movement and matchup info.

  • Daniel Hishaw Jr. Over 31.5 rushing yards (-113 via Caesars) vs. UNLV ?? ???
  • Germie Bernard Over 47.5 receiving yards (-114 via FanDuel) at Wisconsin ?????
  • Mario Williams Over 25.5 longest reception (-118 via ESPN BET) at Oklahoma ????
  • Luke Lachey Over 38.5 receiving yards (-114 via ESPN BET) vs. Troy ?????

College football picks made Thursday; odds subject to change. Our NEW college football player prop odds tool can help you find the best odds on any market across legal sportsbooks in your area!

As mentioned in my UNLV vs. Kansas player props, I'm betting on KU's run game during Friday's matchup at Children's Mercy Park.

KU offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes told reporters he needs to do a better job of not abandoning that area. Devin Neal figures to have a more prominent role in a run-heavy approach, but his rushing line is in the triple digits.

Daniel Hishaw Jr., KU's backup tailback, is getting the more attainable line. He's cleared this number in back-to-back games on 16 carries. Bet this up to 34.5, as I project him to clear 40 yards.

Hishaw may excel, but I also anticipate the Rebels giving Kansas trouble as part of my UNLV vs. Kansas prediction.

I bet on Alabama receiver Germie Bernard in Week 1, only for the first-team offense to attempt nine passes in a 63-0 win over Western Kentucky. Bernard caught four passes for 53 yards in a 42-16 win over South Florida last weekend.

In a more competitive game script against Wisconsin, Alabama will need to throw the ball more in Week 3. That bodes well for Bernard, who's tied for first on the team in targets and leads the Crimson Tide in passing snaps.

There's a chance that Bernard is Alabama's No. 1 receiver. The best prop betting sites haven't needed to pay attention, given the lack of pass attempts.

I'm jumping on this Over before it's too late.

Elsewhere, Phil Wood thinks Bernard will contribute to the Crimson Tide covering as part of his Alabama vs. Wisconsin early picks.

I was all over Tulane receiver Mario Williams last week in what turned out be a pathetic line of 35.5 receiving yards. He finished with 128 yards on six catches in a 34-27 loss to Kansas State.

Our best sports betting sites are now trading his yardage prop in the 60s, but I'd rather count on one play while exploring the longest reception market. Williams is a big-play receiver, averaging 25.2 yards per catch and clearing this mark in both of his contests this season so far.

He'll face his former team on the road in Oklahoma, where his collegiate career began. Williams will be eager to make something happen against the Sooners on Saturday. Are you doubting him at this point?

The rest of our best sports betting apps haven't released this market, so we must take advantage of ESPN BET for being bold enough to be the first. They're just wrong though.

Iowa tight end Luke Lachey didn't catch a single pass in last week's 20-19 loss to Iowa State, but let's not forget why the market steamed his receiving line all week. Lachey was a focal point of Iowa's offense in the opener, catching six passes for 63 yards on eight targets.

The Hawkeyes have a knack for creating NFL tight ends, and Lachey is on his way to becoming the next one. He leads the team with 12 targets, which matters more to me than his results last week.

Take advantage of this discounted line.
