The fall crisp is starting to infiltrate the humid August air. The sound of “Enter Sandman” is once again causing goosebumps to pop up on every inch of our arms. Dunkin' Donuts is pouring pumpkin spice flavoring into coffees in cities throughout the United States.
All of this can only mean one thing: College football is near.
On Saturday, we get our very first taste of real football for the 2023 season. Ten FBS and FCS games populate the schedule on Aug. 26, and then things get turned up even more with 87 games in Week 1.
It's safe to say this is what we've been waiting for ever since the black and red confetti poured over the SoFi Stadium field following Georgia's nationa l title win over TCU on Jan. 9. It's been almost eight months in the making. But we're finally back.
